Michelle Akers was an American soccer, born on 1st February 1966. She was a player who overcomes from her chronic fatigue syndrome and led her team to won the world cups of 1991 and 1999. She was well known for her aggressive and physical play nature.
Career of Michelle Akers
In 1985 Akers become the member of the united states women's national soccer team. In August 1985 her first tournament was held in Italy. She could not be able to play her first tournament because her ankle got injured. In her second game, she played and also scored the highest score against Denmark in the history of the program. She made her team won the world cup in 1991 and in 1999. In 1995 she loses the game against Norway, in 1996 she again becomes the member of u.s. women's national team, at where she won the gold medal. Akers gets her retirement from his Professional career in 2000.
