About Mario Andretti
Mario Andretti was born on 28th Feb 1940, he is a former racing driver. He is the only driver to win races in Formula One, IndyCar, World Sportscar Championship and NASCAR (the other being Dan Gurney). Midget cars and sprint cars these two races are also won by him. In 1967, 1978 and in 1984 he was the only racer who be named in united states driver of the year. People call him with the name "speed". Dee Ann was his English tutor, whom he got married on 25th November 1961.
Career of Mario Andretti
When Andretti was 13 years old he had participated in the formula junior in Italy. Where he had his first racing experience. He won midget cars and spirit car races. In 1978 he won the formula one world championship. He became the only driver to win the Indianapolis 500 in 1969, Daytona 500 in 1967 and the Formula One World Championship. Since Andretti's victory, no American won the formula one race. In racing, he had an extensive career. He became first to win an automobile race. He is so active after his retirement. He became the vice chairman of a winery named Andretti Winery in Napa Valley, California. In 2012 he became an ambassador of the circuit of the Americas.
