Career of P. V. Sindhu
She won a bronze medal at the 2009 Sub-Junior Asian Badminton Championships held in Colombo. In the following year, she won a silver medal at Iran Fajr International Badminton Challenge. She was a member of India's national team at the 2010 Uber Cup. She participated in the Senior National Badminton Championships held at Srinagar. She played in 2014 Commonwealth Games in the women's singles competition and reached the semifinal. She won a silver medal in 2016 Olympics. She won a gold in the mixed team event and a silver medal in the women's singles event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.
