After working as a background dancer at a wedding in Kolkatta, she decided to go back to her home. She started posting her dancing videos on social media which gave her immense popularity and also earned her first acting role in television series “Gudiya Hamari Sabhi Pe Bhari.”

Once, she danced for ten days in wedding functions and decided to leave but manager insisted to dance for two more days. On refusal, she was locked in a room. She somehow managed to escape without money or her phone. When she met her then-boyfriend after running for a long time, she fainted in front of him.
She participated in the Bigg Boss OTT season two in 2023 and got so much love from the audience.
Her parents separated when she was a small child, that's why there are no post of her mother on her social media account.
Manisha is a travel enthusiast and shared pictures and videos of her Dubai trip in her June 2023 Instagram posts.
