He was an american actor, was born on 25th october 1919, in Juarez, Mexico. He is best known for his role in "Mr.cousin" as the peaceful cheyenne informer and Alaniz appeared with Rodd Redwing in eight episodes of The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp. His birth name was Americo Zorilla Alaniz. He gave his appearance in sixteen episodes of ABC/Desilu western television series, The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp he play a role of peaceful Cheyenne informer Mr. Cousin.
Career of Rico Alaniz
In the 1953 film Conquest of Cochise, he plays a role of Felipe in which John Hodiak also there who play the role of Apache chief Cochise and 'The Magnificent Seven' released in 1960 in whichh he played the role of Sotero. He also appeared in two crime tv series in 1962 in which he was also appeared as Rafael Bencosme in "Ramon" on NBC's 87th Precinct and as Colonel Luna in the episode "Flight from Escondido" of the ABC/WB detective series 77 Sunset Strip. Rico Alaniz cast as a detective in the tv series episode named "The Perfect Circle" of the CBS crime drama Tightrope in 1959. In the episode "Broker Mirror" of the CBS series Mannix he appeared as a doctor in 1972. He was cast in many shows for several times some of them are: as he was cast five times in The "High Chaparral", four times in "Bonanza" , three times in "the Gunsmoke", and two times in different series like "Tales of Wells Fargo", and "The Wild West", and so on.
