Mohit Raina is an Indian TV and film actor, best known on TV for his lead role in Devon Ke Dev ? Mahadev where he played role of Mahadev(Lord Shiva). This mythological show brought extreme fame for him and made him populer among all age of audience. Although he was active on TV from 2006 from his first TV Series and worked in some Hindi movies but real fame came from Life Ok TV series Mahadev.

Mohit Raina belongs to Kashmiri Brahmin Family from Jammu and Kashmir. Completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalay Jammu and graduated in Commerce. After graduation he involved himself to become charted accountant. But left it in midway to participate in Grasim Mr. India 2005 and placed among first five contestants. From here he started his career in modeling.
Career of Mohit Raina
With a science fiction Tv show 'Antariksh' he started his acting career in 2006. He plays a role of Jai Kishan in movie 'Don Muthu Swami' which was not so famous on box office. He appeared in tv series 'Chehra' in 2009. He plays a lead role in tv series 'Ganga Kii Dheej' in December 2010. He got famous for his role in the TV serial Devon Ke Dev ? Mahadev as Mahadev from 2011-14. Later he again appeared in one more Mythological show 'Mahabharat (2013 TV series)' from 2013-14. He plays a role of Ashoka in historical show 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat' in 2016.
