Bill made his debut in 1979. He refereed his first match in Texas at the age of 21. In his early 20s, he got a regular position as a referee in Championship Wrestling from Florida. In May 1995, he made his debut in Extreme Championship Wrestling. He has worked with big names as WCW, WWF. His greatest success came in Extreme Championship Wrestling in the mid-to-late 1990s.
