Career of Roy Wood
He joined the group Falcons in the early 1960s and left in 1963 and joined Gerry Levene and the Avengers. He worked with Mike Sheridan and the Nightriders. A band "The Move" was formed whose first single peaked at No 2. The first song played at the launch of BBC Radio 1 in 1967 was their "Flowers in the Rain". He formed another group "Electric Light Orchestra (ELO)" with his band colleagues Jeff Lynne and Bev Bevan. He left the group in 1972 and formed a new group Wizzard. Their first album was "Boulders" and "Mustard" was released afterward.

I adore Roy Wood songs. I listened to him from the 70s and still do. You don't get songs like that anymore the old bands are the best .sing play guitars drum etc. not like this day. 60s 70s the best.
