About B.G
The real name of American rapper B.G. is Christopher Noel Dorsey. Born in Uptown, New Orleans, Louisiana, the U.S. on September 3, 1980, he is now turned 37. He is a Rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, record executive, and actor. He got the name BG after signing to Cash Money Records in 1992. He resigned from Cash Money Records for creating his own label, Chopper City Records in 2001.
Career of B.G
He started his career in 1992 by signing Cash Money and form a group with Lil Wayne the name of the group was The B.G.'z and True Story was released by the group. He formed his own group Chopper City in 1996 and released It's All on U, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 in 1997. He was also in another group Hot Boys. In 1997, the album Get It How U Live was released by the group. Universal Records and Cash Money Records signed a deal with each other in 1999 which leads to the nationwide success with the album "Bling Bling" and "Back That Azz Up". The word bling- bling describes shiny, expensive jewelry, automobiles, or other forms of opulence and it was added to Oxford English Dictionary in 2003. The second album of Hot Boys was released in five spots of the Billboard 200 chart in 1999 which was Guerrilla Warfare. And the B.G.'s last album with Cash Money Records was Checkmate which was released in 2000. Just after that, he created his own Chopper City Records having the deal with Koch Records, he released his sixth album Livin' Legend. In 2004, he released Life After Cash Money to show that he is no longer associated with the company. The Heart of Tha Streetz was his eighth album which was released in 2005 and in 2006 its second version was released that was The Heart of Tha Streetz, Vol. 2 (I Am What I Am). He founded a new group in 2007 by signing with Atlantic Records and with Hot Boys which was named as Chopper City Boyz and recorded 23 songs in 2007 and 2008 and albums were We Got This and Life in the Concrete Jungle. In 2009, his tenth album Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood was released. In 2010, his mixtape "22504 (225504)", with Baton Rouge rapper Lil Boosie was released. and after one month he released his solo mixtape in which he introduces his newfound group, Chopper City Gorilla Gang. The name of the tape was Money Side, Murda Side. His street album HollyHood was released in 2010. He was planning to release a second version of his mixtape called Money Side, Murda Side II, just after Pussy Season but was gone for 14 years of imprisonment
