The actress has co-written and co-produced The Ever After with her husband, Mark Webber.
Her name was given to her after Mother Teresa by her mother Paula Sanders. Palmer has stated that she had a tough upbringing because of her mother's manic depression.
She managed to win a contest, called "Search for a Movie Star" which was held locally in 2003. During the time she was studying at Mercedes College (Private Catholic day school).
Few of her initial acting jobs includedpromotions in shopping centers near Adelaide. She has to wear Strawberry Shortcake costume and dress as an elf assistant to mall Santa Clauses on weekends.
