Career of Hema Malini
The dream girl of Bollywood Hema Malini started her career with "Idhu Sathiyam 1963" which was a Tamil movie. She debuted in Bollywood with the movie "Sapno Ka Saudagar" released in 1968 alongside Raj Kapoor. She has given many successful movies in which "Sholay" was her most noted film, she played Basanti in the movie, and became a household name after the movie. Apart from Hindi movies, she has also appeared in Telugu and Tamil movies.
She joined BJP in 2004, In 2011 she became the BJP's general secretary, and in 2014 she defeated Jayant Chaudhary in general elections. After which she was elected to Lok Sabha.
