What an actress! When Ellen Corby played a part, she played it very well. She actually became the person she portrayed and thoroughly convinced the audience that she was that person in heart, body, and mind. Her most well known character was that of the beloved Grandma Walton. She embodied the kind of loving heart and endearing spirit that we all remember and cherish fondly. Sadly she is no longer with us.
