He joined the show business in the year 2011 with his appearance in the film "Nuvvila." He soon gets success due to his pleasing personality with a tall height of 5 feet 9 inches. He was cast for the lead role in the film "Pelli Choopulu." He starred as Erra Srinu in the drama film "Dwaraka." He rose to fame with his appearance as the title character in the romantic movie "Arjun Reddy." Some of his other acting credits are Mahanati, Taxiwaala, Thalaivi, Hero, and Fighter among others.

His work in the film "Arjun Reddy" also earns him intense popularity and Awards including Zee Telugu Golden Awards and Behindwoods Gold Medal.
