He joined the entertainment industry in the year 2007 as a stand-up comedian. He performed with various local troupes and toured with The Second City at the time. His first television appearance was in a talk show "Chelsea Lately." He starred as Jimmy Goodwin in the sitcom "Goodwin Games." He portrayed Erlich Bachman in the comedy television series "Silicon Valley." His first film role was in the film "Cloverfield."
