He gained popularity with his work in the Aranmanai film series. His first film as a lead actor was "Thalai Nagaram." He appeared as Inspector Chezhiyan in the film "Iruttu." He appeared as Ravi in the Aranmanai film series. He also worked for the small screen and appeared in television series like Nandini, Maya, Lakshmi Stores, and Jothi.
