Edge started his career as a stand-up comedian in 1997. His foray into TV shows was in 2000 in Live at the Top of the Tower. In 2007, he landed his first film role as Tony White in the movie Magicians. He rose to fame for his work in Starlings, The Cup, Peep Show, and Benidorm. He made a name for himself on Television with the satirical magazine show Star Stories. He was seen in a TV Film titled Do Not Disturb in 2016, playing the character of Neil.
