Early Life of Shahrukh Khan
He lived in rented apartments in Rajendra Nagar, Delhi. He belongs to a middle-class family. His father was a businessman and also owns a restaurant. He was a student at St. Columba's School and also received the Sword of Honour in his school. He joined Hansraj College for bachelor's degree in Economics and side by side joins Delhi's Theatre Action Group (TAG). He joined Jamia Millia Islamia to earn a master's degree in Mass Communications but dropped for an acting career.

He started working in Dil Dariya in 1988 but because of delay in production Fauji was telecast before Dil Dariya. He appeared in Circus in 1989-90 and in Idiot in 1991. He also hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati when Amitabh Bachchan was not well and after one year he hosted a game show Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? He performed in Imagine TV's Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout.
Films
He worked with Divya Bharti in two films Dil Aashna Hai and Deewana. Deewana was hit in box office. After that, he performed in Chamatkar, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. He also played negative characters in films like Darr, Baazigar and also in Anjaam. His excellent performance in these films gave his career such a height that he never have to look back. After working in Baazigar with Kajol he appeared with her in many films.
