He started his acting career with the character of a Warrior Protector in the film "Spirit: The Seventh Fire", but rose to prominence with the film "Apocalypto" as Jaguar Paw. He also won Best Actor award for his work in "Apocalypto". He appeared as Toowin in the film "Into the Americas".
