Career of Richard Beckinsale
Starting career on stage his first television debut is in Coronation Street as a police officer. He had a starring role in the sitcom The Lovers as Geoffrey. Just after that, he appeared in two TV sitcom at the same time, he was a medical student Alan Moore in Rising Damp and also have a starring role in the BBC sitcom Porridge. He also appeared in films like Rentadick and Three for All and in TV series like "Last Summer" episode of ITV Playhouse, an episode of This Is Your Life. He starred in Going Straight, a spin-off of Porridge. His last work was in a film version of Porridge. Some of his work remains unfinished due to his sudden death.
