American actor John Arledge was born in Crockett, Texas, U.S.on March 12, 1906, and died at a very small age of 41 in Hollywood, California, the U.S. on May 15, 1947. He had worked in both films and stage and is known for his supporting roles in Hollywood movies of the 1930s-1940s which includes The Grapes of Wrath, County Fair, Two in Revolt.

In 1930, he has worked in King of Jazz as Johnson Arledge. His work was seen in Young Sinners, Daddy Long Legs, The Spider, Heartbreak in 1931 and in 1932 he has performed in After Tomorrow, Careless Lady, Huddle, Week Ends Only, Hell's Highway.
