Jeff Anderson full name Jeff Allan Anderson was born on April 21, 1970, in Connecticut, United States. He is an American actor, director, screenwriter and is popular for his role in clerks and clerks II as Randal Graves. He has written, directed and starred in Now You Know. In 1998, he was married to Lisa Spoonauer but they got divorced after one year. And in 2009, he announced that he is remarried to Barbara Jacques an actress whom he met while house sitting for Kevin Smith. Before being famous he attended Henry Hudson Regional High School.

He was inspired by writer Kevin Smith. He has auditioned for a character Jay in "Clerks" but Smith selected him for the lead role of Randal Graves. He was nominated as Best Debut Performer for an Independent Spirit Award for his role in Clerk. For his role in Love 101, he was nominated as the best male performer in Chicago Film Festival.
In Hollywood, he had also started his own production company. In 2008 he had appeared as Deacon in a romantic comedy called Zack and Miri Make a Porno of Kevin Smith.
