Heath Ledger got his break at the big screen with the movie Clowning Around in 1992, he played an orphan clown in the film but was not credited for his performance. His first TV show was Ship to Shore in 1993. His role as The Joker in The Dark Knight (2008) was considered to be his best movie of all time, he was praised by the audience for the role a lot. Sleep Disorder
In an interview in 2007, he confessed that the hectic schedule of his recently completed films 'I'm Not There' and 'The Dark Knight' had deleteriously affected his ability to sleep. Further, he said that he took two Ambien pills, taking just one was not enough, and those left him in a delirium, only to wake up an hour later, while his mind still racing.
The actor also talked to a co-star Christopher Plummer that he hasn't overcome the sleeping problem and was taking pills to help with the issue.
