comedian, voice artist, screenwriter, producer, singer, and musician. His family shifted to New York when he was a baby. His mother was a school teacher and his father worked for IBM. He studied in School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. He was married to
Sally Timms in 1998 and divorced her in 2004. Again he was married to Elisabeth Moss in 2009 and also separated with her after 8 months.
Career of Fred Armisen
Music
He dropped his college to become a rock drummer. He has played the drum in a local band after that he plays drums for the punk rock band Trenchmouth and as a background drummer of Blue Man Group. He had also played the drum for the album 'Let's Stay Friends and Modern Art'. He had worked as a bandleader of the 8G Band.
Films
He started his film career with the various roles in a short film Guide to Music and South by Southwest in 1998 and also worked in Fred Armisen's Guide to Dance and Self-Defense. In 2002 he has worked in I Am Trying to Break Your Heart: A Film About Wilco and Like Mike. In 2003, he was Frank in Frank International Film Festival, as Vesa in Melvin Goes to Dinner.
