Dipankar Dey was born on 5 July 1944, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. He completes his schooling from St.Xavier's School in 1962 and later he became graduated from Presidency College in Economics and got Master's Degree from Jadavpur University in 1965.
Career of Dipankar Dey
He joined the show business in the early 1970s. Some of his early works could be seen in films like Ronokshetra, Seemabaddha, Jana Aranya, Akaler Sandhaney, Subarna Golak among others. The actor is also no stranger to the small screen and worked in the soap opera-like Jarowar Jhumko, Bhojo Gobindo, and Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki. His recent work was also appreciated in the television show Kanak Kakon and the film "Ahaa Re."
