He started his career with a role in Children's Ward in 1990 as J.J. He appeared in Prime Suspect, Holby City, Perfect Day: The Funeral, Coronation Street, Shameless, Emmerdale. He also appeared in Valentine's Day 2009 episode of Casualty. He appeared in films like Stepdad and has a starring role in the film East is East as Saleem Khan.
