Jay Mathur is one of the main characters in the fifth season of Indian television series “Naagin.” The character is played by Mohit Sehgal. According to the plot, the character is the reincarnation of Hriday who was lover of Sarvashreshth Aadi Naagin. He is also a Naag from Sheshnaag clan. His character becomes negative in the later episode when he was misled by Maarkaat who was the biggest enemy of Aadinaagin. Jay himself becomes a Maarkaat by killing his own mother. He also informs Bani about the clash of comets to crash her and Veer for breaking the law of nature.
