She opened her first restaurant at Sag Harbor, Long Island, New York in 1986. She is also interested in decor and she started her Bed Bath & Beyond in Spring 2001. In 2004, she entered into a line of crockery and her first furniture collection with the La-Z-Boy company Clayton Marcus was launched in 2007.
