About Elizabeth Holmes
Elizabeth Holmes became the youngest self-made female billionaire in the world in 2015 and is an inspiration for every woman who wanted to make her name in this world.

Career of Elizabeth Holmes
She founded her company "Theranos" in April 2004. She raised $6 million in December 2004. At the end of 2010, her company's venture capital reached more than $92 million. By the end of 2014, her company is valued at $9 billion with more than $400 million in venture capital.

Crisis in the life of Elizabeth Holmes
According to a report by The Wall Street Journal in October 2015, the Edison blood-testing device by her company provided the wrong result. But she denied the claims that her company will publish data on the accuracy of its tests.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) wrote a warning letter to her company after inspecting its Newark, California laboratory in January 2016. But the company had not fixed the problem as a result in March 2016, CMS officers proposed a two-year ban from owning or operating a blood lab. And on July 2016, they banned her for the same.
Just after that Walgreens broke the deal with her company and closed its in-store blood collection centers. Also, FDA ordered the company to cease using its Capillary Tube Nanotainer device.
Her problems increase when the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California gives an unspecified FBI investigation and there were two class-action fraud lawsuits. However, she denied any wrongdoing. Her company announced that there is a global settlement agreement with CMS in April 2017. In May 2017, her company released a portion of her equity for diluting her stock value to non-participating shareholders.
A lawsuit was settled by Securities and Exchange Commission on March 14, 2018, alleging the company for fraud by making false or misleading statements. It also includes that the company claims that its was being used by the US Department of Defense in combat situations despite never having been used.
There is also another false claim in which the company had claimed that its revenue in 2014 is $100 million while it was actually $100,000. It is settled with a ban on holding an officer position in a public company for 10 years and a $500,000 fine.
