Attracting the sight of hundreds of visitors daily, Sigandur Chowdeshwari Temple is a Hindu pilgrimage site located in Sigandur village. The temple is devoted to the goddess Choudeshwari. It is located on the banks of the Sharavati River. The temple is known by the name Sigandur after the village it is located in.

He told a Brahmin named Duggajja about his dream, and collectively they built the temple. The forest in which he had his dream goes by Chowdeshwari temple at the present time.
