About Borobudur
Borobudur is a 9th century Mahayana Buddhist temple situated in Mageland Regency, in Central Java, Indonesia. It is the biggest Buddhist temple in the world. It boasts of decoration of 2,672 relief panels and 504 Budhha statues. The central dome is surrounded by 72 Budhha statues, each of which is seated inside a stupa.
