Gran Via is a popular street located in Central Madrid, Spain. It is spread a length of about 1.3 kilometers. It is an important street which starts from Calle de Alcala takes you close to Plaza de Cibeles and ends at Plaza de Espana. It connects with other major streets like Calle de la Montera, Calle de San Bernardo, and Calle de Fuencarral. It is also called "Spanish Broadway" due to the presence of several Spanish theatres, however, many of them are converted into shopping centers since the late 2000s.
