About Lumbini Park
Lumbini Park is a public park located near the famous Hussain Sagar lake of Hyderabad, India. It is located at the center of the twin cities Hyderabad and Secunderabad and is easily accessible due to its location close to other tourist attractions like Hussain Sagar, Birla Mandir and others. It covers an area of 3 hectares and is maintained by the Buddha Purnima Project Authority. The park was constructed in the year 1994 and was designed by Raj Expedith Associates. The park remains open throughout the year from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. A nominal amount of money 20 Rupees for an adult and 10 Rupees for a child is charged by the authority to enter the park, while there are more charges for boating and Laser Show.

Lumbini Park is located close to Hussain Sagar lake in a well-connected location in Hyderabad. You can take any of the following transport options to reach the park.
Bus
You have to take a bus for Secretariat Main Bus stop, NTR bus stop, Lakdi ka pool, Pushpak bus stop or Telephone Bhavan bus stop. After reaching these bus stand, you can simply walk or take an auto-rickshaw to reach the park.
Subway
Going there by a subway is also a convenient option. Some of the nearby subway stations includes Lakdikapul, Khairatabad, Assembly, Necklace Road and Nampally. The park is location at a few minutes walking distance from these subway stations.
Taxi
The most convenient option to reach the park is to book a taxi from your location, which will drop you right at the gate of the park.
