About Iguacu National Park
Iguaçu National Park is a reserved area located in Paraná State, Brazil. It is spread in an area of over 185 thousand hectares. It makes a natural border between Argentina and Brazil. The site was designated as the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the year 1986. A variety of vegetation grows due to clouds of spray made by a waterfall. The site is managed by Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation. It is open for public visits from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 12:00 and after a break, it opens from 1:30 to 5:30 pm while on Saturday it opens only in morning timings and remains closed on Sunday.
