About Snow World
Snow World is a theme park situated in Hyderabad city of India. It is located along the famous
Hussain Sagar
and is just beside Indira Park. The park covers an area of two acres. It was opened in January of 2004. The park is owned by Ocean Park Multitech Ltd. You can enjoy winters in this park throughout the year. It remains open from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm for the whole week. The entry ticket for an adult who is 4 feet and 6 inch and above is INR 500 while for the children ranging from 2 feet to 4 feet and 6 inches are cost INR 300. Some relaxation is given to college and school students.
Some Lesser Known Facts About Snow World
- The park contains two hundred tons of artificial snow. The snow is specially prepared which does not melt and there is no seepage of this snow. They clean the top layer of snow each day and add additional two or three tons of snow which is generated with the Australian patented technology. Don't worry about the children if your child consumes some snow from the park as the water is filtered four times before converting into the snow.
- The park authorities also take care of the health of the visitors. They move them stepwise, first, they are kept at 20 degree Celsius then they are moved to 0 degrees and further moved to the minus level so that their body accepts the changing temperature and they do not fall sick coming from the scorching heat of Hyderabad and entering in the minus degree temperature of Snow World. They also provide extra-warm sweaters, jackets, and snowcaps as well as a steaming cup of soupy broth to make your trip more comfortable and enjoyable.
- They also introduced a snowfall feature where the visitors can see the snowfall for 5 minutes right before the session ends.
- The park authorities have also maintained the system of supply of fresh air which is certified by the Motor Sports Association of India to avoid any accident.
- The whole scenario of Iceland with polar bears, penguins, Alpine trees, and igloos are created that makes the visitor feel that they are moving in an arctic region, They also provide snow tube slides, ice-bumping cars, an ice skating rink, and much more to remind winters.
