Everglades National Park as the name suggests is a national park to protect the original Everglades in Florida, United States. The area is spread in over 6100-kilometer square. It was designated as the World Heritage Site in the year 1979. The park receives over a million visitors per year. It is the largest wilderness in the east of the Mississippi River and is the largest tropical wilderness all over the United States. It became an endangered site as the ecosystem is affecting due to human activity.
