About East Coast Park
East Coast Park is a park located southeastern coast of Singapore. It is also a beach which attracts the attention of tourists. It is the largest park throughout the Singapore covering an area of over 185 hectare. The manmade beach which is protected by breakwater is also available here where swimming is possible. Moreover, the park is also featured with chalets, barbecue pits, food centers, and other sports amenities. It is also connected with Changi Beach Park. It is divided into eight areas from A to H.
Some Lesser Known Facts About East Coast Park
- The park is reportedly haunted by a ghost of a young girl who was reportedly stabbed at the yellow tower at the East Coast Park in 1990. She was spending a romantic night with James Soh was 22 at the time while the girl named Kelly Ah Hong was 21. They were attacked by two unknown attackers. Mr Soh was lucky to survive but Kelly died at the spot. The mystery of her murder is still not solved. It is said that her soul has not found peace to the date.
- Many people claimed that they have seen droplets of blood on stairs and railing. Some said that they head some wailing sound while other claiming that they have seen a female apparition dressed in white at the tower. It seems that her soul is still waiting for the justice.
