About Acadia National Park
Acadia National Park is a protected area in the Northeastern USA. The national park is situated in Maine State. It was established in 1916 as the national monument but after 10 years in 1929, it was converted into the national park. Initially it was Lafayette National Park and later in 1929 renamed to Acadia national park. The park encompasses the area of over 49 acres is governed by a government agency National Park Service in the United States.
