About Mevlana Museum
Mevlana Museum is a museum situated in Konya, Turkey. It is a mausoleum of a Persian Sufi mystic named Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi. It was constructed in the 13th century under the guidance of architect Badr al-Din Tabrizi. It was converted into a museum in 1926. It is one of the most visited museums of Turkey being visited by over 2.5 million people in a year. The opening timing is 10:00 am while closing timing is 4:45 pm throughout the week.
