Swiss Tectonic Arena Sardona is a mountain area in Switzerland. It has seven peaks which are about 3000 meters high. The area covered by the site is over 32850 hectares. Glarus thrust is the main thrust fault in the area. The Glarus Alps are glaciated mountains. It was also the site of the largest post-glacial landslide. The Contact between Jurassic and Cretaceous limestones, Permo-Triassic rock layers of the Verrucano group, and Paleogene flysch and molasse which is founded by the thrust.
