Castaway Cay is a popular holiday destination. It is a private island located in the Bahamas. It comes under the Lucayan Archipelago. The island serves as an exclusive port for the Disney Cruise Line ships. It is spread in an area of 1000 acres out of which 55 acres are being used. The island was settled in 1783. The island was taken on lease by the Walt Disney Company for 99 years in 1997.
