About Hotel de Glace

It is an ice hotel which was founded in 2001. It has about fifty room along with parking facility.

To the visitors' surprise inside temperature is between -3°C and 5°C which is much warmer than the outside temperature which is about -25°C in Quebec.
You might have seen Disney's film "Frozen." Do you know what was Elsa's ice palace? You are right, it was this hotel. Smart Hotel owner specially designed a Frozen suite with a Disney style bed fit for a princess.
To maintain this hotel is not an easy job for the owner. It requires rebuilding every year and needs about 500 tons of ice and thirty thousand tons of snow which is churned to make it denser. About fifty people work hard and complete the hotel in six weeks.
It provides comfort like fireplace and hot tub to give cozy experience to the guest.
If you are planning a destination wedding you can choose this hotel as it is one of the ten dream wedding locations. It also has a chapel and has organized over 275 wedding.
