The Roch Castle was built during the 12th century by Norman knight Adam de Rupe. Acting as a stronghold during the Civil War, and was later abandoned. It is famous for its alleged paranormal activities, in addition to its significant historical reputation. It sits at the division of English and Welsh-speaking Wales, i.e., an imaginary line running across the west to east which is today, still known as the ?Landsker line?.
