Montpelier Hill as the name suggests is a hill situated in Dublin, Ireland. It features a ruined building at the top which is said to be one of the first Freemason lodges in Ireland. The hill is about 383-metre long and is one among the Dublin mountain range. The building on the peak of the mountain was made by William Conolly as a hunting lodge in 1725.It was used as a meeting place by members of the Irish Hell Fire Club from 1735 to 1741 that?s why got its name.
