Ranthambore Fort is the formidable fort located in the Rajasthan state of India. It was built in 10h century in around 944 or 1110 during the reign of Sapaldaksha, though the exact date of its construction is yet dispute. The fort was held in under Rajput Chauhans, kings of Mewar, Hada Rajputs and Kachwaha Maharajas.

- In 2013, during the 37th assembly of the World Heritage Committee, six forts including the Ranthambore fort certified as a world heritage site by UNESCO as a part of the hill forts of Rajasthan.
