About Junagarh Fort
Junagarh Fort is a fort complex situated in Rajasthan, India. The fort was built of sandstones and marbles from 1589 to 1594 during the rule of Raja Rai Singh in the city of Bikaner. It was built under the supervision of ruler?s prime minister Karan Chand. The fort spans the area of over five hectares. The site is open for public and currently controlled by the state government of Rajasthan.
