Sanaa is an old city situated in Yemen. It is the largest city and is also the center of the Sanaa Governorate. It is the capital of Yemen according to the Yemeni constitution. The city is spread in an area of 126 kilometers square. The oldest part of the city contains a number of historical monuments due to which are designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its historical sites include the Al Saleh Mosque, Bab-al-Yaman, and the National Museum of Yemen.
