Teotihuacan is an ancient city located in Mexico. It is just 40 kilometers away from Mexico City. It was resided by a population of about 125000 people. The archaeological remains belonging to 1 AD to 500 AD are found from the site. It was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the year 1987. The area covered by the site is over three thousand hectares. Over four million visitors come to see the site every year.
