About La Chaux de Fonds
La Chaux-de-Fonds is a city located in Neuchatel. It was founded in 1656. The city is situated in the Jura Mountains, 1000 meters above sea level. It is just a few kilometers away from the French border. It is the fourth largest city in Romandie. It has a population of over 37000 as per the December 2019 census. Le Locle is its sister city. Both the cities are UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009.
