About Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is a city located in south Croatia. It is situated on the Adriatic Sea and is a popular tourist attraction. The city was founded in the 7th century by refugees from Epidaurum. The city is spread in an area of 21.35 kilometers square having a population of over 42000 according to the 2011 census. It is known for the old monuments present in the city and was enlisted as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979.
