Hiba Nawab starrer show "Jhanak" is getting popularity nowaday. Hiba has already made her place in viewer's heart due to her appearance in the shows like "Woh Toh Hai Albela" where she played the character of Sayuri . Also, she was shown a naughty fun-loving girl in the sitcom "Jijaji Chatt Par Hai." The expectation rises when Hiba joined the show.

Jhanak is a girl with high dreams who lives happily in Kashmir. She is a passionate dancer and also challenged Arshi on the stage. Her life was going smoothly until the evil eye of Tejas fell on him. Tejas is a Don and wants to marry Jhanak. A traveler named Anirudh meet Jhanak when he was living in the same hotel where Jhanak’s mother used to work. Anirudh was greatly inspired by Jhanak’s dance moves and want her to follow her passion. He is engaged to Arshi but have some sympathy with Jhanak when goons of Tejas kills her mother. He supported Jhanak and save her from goons but the villagers think there is affair between Jhanak and Anirudh.

The villagers forced Anirudh to marry Jhanak and took her to his home, which is the only way to protect her from Tejas. However, Anirudh denies and says that he loves anyone else and couldn’t marry Jhanak. Also, Jhanak says that they should not sacrifice Anirudh for her sake. But the villagers disagree and replied that Tejas will kill her if he finds her but if Anirudh marries her and took her with him, he will be unable to find her. Also, Anirudh suggests that Jhanak can marry Rahul who is her best friend, for which villagers replied that he belongs to the same village and could not take her much far from the location. On that condition, Tejas will kill both of them. At last, Anirudh and Jhanak agrees for a fake marriage. Jhanak tells her that after this fake marriage, he can drop her to Jammu after which she will find a way to escape.

Later on, circumstances changed and Jhanak arrives at Aniruddh's house to work as a maid. It was not easy to hide their past for both of them while living in a same home. Every day, there are some circumstances which questions the relationship of Jhanak and Aniruddh. Also, there was a day when Arshi finds Jhanak's wedding dress in Anirudh's Almirah. The viewers relate themselves with the life of Jhanak and wanted her to get the status of wife in Aniruddh's house. The story is getting fans appereciation and is generating a lot of TRP with the best quality acting by Hiba and Krushal Ahuja .
